 Former Nigerian Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Babangida has commiserated with the people of Mokwa and the entire Niger State over the recent flood disaster in the local government, describing the incident as unfortunate.

IBB stated this when he received a state government delegation led by the Niger State Deputy Governor, Yakubu Garba on a Sallah Homage at his hilltop residence in Minna.

According to him, ” What happened in Mokwa was unfortunate and it was ordained by Allah. I enjoin residents of the state to continue to pray for the souls of the deceased”..
