🚨 BREAKING: Bayelsa High Court Judge Abducted by Armed Gunmen in Yenagoa


 Tragedy struck in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, on Saturday, June 21, as Justice E.G. Umokoro, who presides over High Court 7, was reportedly abducted by unknown gunmen.

According to eyewitnesses, the attack occurred around 7:00 PM near a well-known eatery in the Ekeki area, along Chief Melford Okilo Expressway. The masked assailants, dressed in black uniforms, opened fire but missed, before blocking the judge’s path with an unmarked white Hilux van and forcing him into the vehicle.

Despite the violent confrontation, the gunmen left behind the judge’s black Toyota Prado SUV.
A video circulating online shows Justice Umokoro struggling with his abductors before being overpowered and driven away.

As of now, the Bayelsa State Police Command has not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
