 Zambia’s Maize Production hits 3 million, Bringing Price Relief


The 2024/2025 farming season resulted in a record-breaking harvest of 3.66 million metric tons of white maize, more than double the previous year's harvest. This signifies a significant increase from the 1.5 million tons produced the previous year.


"Thank you fellow farmers, for responding to our call for food security. 🌽 Through hard work and unity, we can do even more". Zambia 🇿🇲 President Hakainde Hichilema wrote via his verified Facebook page while celebrating the hit success.
