As young couples, we thought we had life figured out. We were excited to start a family, but nothing could have prepared us for the journey that lay ahead when Yaa was born.

The diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) brought a mix of emotions - shock, worry, and uncertainty. We felt like our world had been turned upside down, and we didn't know what the future held.

But as we navigated the unknown, we discovered strength and resilience we never knew we had. We learned to adapt, to advocate, and to love unconditionally.
