Former Gabonese president  Ali Bongo Ondimba, who was ousted in a coup in August 2023, has flown to Angola with his wife and son, according to the Angolan presidency. 🇦🇴  🇬🇦 


His wife, Sylvia Bongo Ondimba  and son, Noureddin Bongo, had been held in custody since the coup on charges including embezzlement, but were transferred from prison to house arrest last week following calls for their release by African Union  officials.
