• A valid BSAFE Certificate

• A valid QREDIV® Certificate

The BSAFE training is the official United Nations course on security awareness, required for all UN personnel. As a pre-selected candidate, your email address is now eligible to register on the UN’s training platform and complete the BSAFE course here.

The QREDIV® Certificate (Quantifiable Emotional Intelligence, Racial & National Diversity, Inclusion, and Validation) is part of our broader commitment to fostering inclusive and globally competent workplaces. This training has been developed by certified diversity practitioners and is delivered through accredited providers worldwide. It is required for all new appointees in multicultural or field-based duty stations.

Please note: QREDIV® is delivered by independent professional training providers. While there may be a nominal course fee, FAO may reimburse this fee after your official entry on duty, contingent on successful completion of your probationary period. Important Notes:

• This offer is contingent on the timely receipt of all required documents and certificates by May 23, 2025.

• If we do not receive the signed Letter of Appointment along with the required two valid certificates by the deadline, the offer will expire on May 24, 2025.

• Once your documents have been verified and your background check is completed, we will confirm your final in-person interview date and starting date.
