Meghraj and Ajit Dhakad, two brothers from Sisoda village in Rajasthan, are redefining rural education.

With a personal donation of ⅔15 crore, they rebuilt their childhood government school - Kankubai-Sohanlal Dhakad Government Senior Secondary School - into a world-class campus that rivals top urban institutions.

From broken chalkboards to:

  • 40 smart classrooms
  • State-of-the-art science and computer labs
  • Digital learning tools
  • A large library and reading areas
  • Sprawling playgrounds and green, secure surroundings

Their goal? Ensure that no child from their village has to leave home for quality education.


This is rural revival through education - led by those who once sat in the same classrooms.


A proud villager told Asianet News:

"We never imagined such a school. Now our children can dream bigger - right from here.
