The Delta State Government has strongly condemned the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for the delayed delivery of examination materials, which caused students at Unity Model Secondary School, Asaba, to begin their exams under poor lighting conditions on May 22, 2025. Similar delays were also reported in schools across Udu and Okpe Local Government Areas, pointing to a broader pattern of logistical failures by the examination body. The state government expressed deep dissatisfaction with these lapses and has urged WAEC to implement immediate reforms.
