PDP Crisis Worsens As Wike 😂 Pulls Out Of Party's Reconciliation Deal, Blames Makinde

Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has publicly withdrawn from the Peoples Democratic Party's (PDP) reconciliation efforts, attributing the party's internal crises to Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde. Wike alleges that Makinde failed to uphold agreements made during reconciliation meetings, particularly concerning the recognition of Senator Samuel Anyanwu as the National Secretary and the withdrawal of legal actions related to Rivers State. He also accuses Makinde of collaborating with Enugu State Governor Peter Mah to undermine these agreements, leading to further divisions within the party.

This development marks a significant shift in the PDP's internal dynamics, especially considering Wike and Makinde's previous alliance as part of the G5 group that opposed the party's presidential candidate in the 2023 elections. The fallout suggests a deepening rift within the party's leadership, potentially impacting its cohesion ahead of the 2027 general elections.
