India's Defence Exports: From 7686 Cr to §23,622 Cr in 11 Years!


In a massive leap towards self-reliance, India's defence exports have grown 34x since 2013-14 - from just 2686 crore to a record 323,622 crore in FY 2024-25.


๐Ÿ’ฅ India now supplies defence equipment to 80+ countries and aims to touch $50,000 crore per year by 2029.


๐Ÿš€Top exports include:

  • Akash Missile System (exported to Armenia, interest from UAE, Egypt, Brazil)
  • 155mm Artillery Guns (100 units exported in 2024)
  • Ammunition by Munitions India (₽6,000 crore orders from UAE, Saudi Arabia & more)

๐Ÿ”งThe private sector leads with 215,233 crore exports, while DPSUs contribute 28,389 crore, growing by 42% YoY!

India's strategy? Offering low-interest loans to nations traditionally dependent on Russia, expanding its influence in the global arms market.
