Governor Sheriff Oborevwori Presents Historic State of the State Address to Mark Two Years in Office
Governor Sheriff Oborevwori today
made history as he presented the first-ever State of the State Address to members of the Delta State
House of Assembly at the Assembly Complex in Asaba.
During his address, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori highlighted key achievements under his administration's M.O.R.E Agenda, with notable progress in infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, civil service reform, security, the oil sector and the signing of several new bills into law.
Furthermore, Governor Oborevwori announced plans to commission 42 new roads across the state to mark his administration's two-year milestone. He also revealed the approval of the Consolidated Legislative Salary Structure (CONLESS for members of the Delta State House of Assembly, reaffirming his resolve to enhance legislative efficiency and welfare.
